School Tutor Partners provide specialist external support for students identified as having focused needs, working on a one-to-one basis both inside the school setting and at home.

A non-agency approach provides a dedicated teacher working directly with the school to support students. This builds a positive relationship with the SENCo, Safeguarding Team, Exams Officer, students and families to achieve the best outcome for some of the most vulnerable young people in our society.

Parents or carers of students, who may require additional support frequently feel isolated and frustrated by the process. Our dedicated, bespoke packages aim to engage students, reassure families, and highlight the provision provided by schools for children with SEN.

Teaching practices change and expand over time. With a learner-centered approach, each student is put in charge of their development. A set curriculum can be adjusted for delivery on a one-to-one basis for learners, or bespoke package based on their current attainment can be created. All lessons are focused on the needs and interests of the student with a growth mindset embedded throughout. ASC delivery is standard practice along with the use of ICT and VR to immerse young minds in a topic.

Due to working directly with a partnered school, high-quality and cost-effective service can be provided. The well-being and progress of students along with highly successful school collaboration are paramount to the School Tutor Partnership ethos.
